What got me here today
My parents taught me a lot but one important thing I learned from them is that life is a game that isn't fair and if you don't choose to play or you don't follow the rules you'll never amount to anything. Because of this by the time I was 6 years old I already knew what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to program. I didn't have anything specific in mind but just what field I was going to be stepping into. At 9 years old my Dad found out, he lent me a C++ textbook and downloaded Visual Studios for me.
I followed some tutorials online and eventually came across an ad for a game called ROBLOX, which is a Lego-like (Brick based) game that allows users to utilize LUA to program in it and create their own games. Once I got into this game I couldn't stop myself from playing, and I still occasionally go back to see what's new. I learned a majority of the fundamentals of programming through it. This game was a life changer. I LOVE video games, and I LOVE programming. So when I found out I could be PROGRAMMING VIDEO GAMES, I dove headfirst into the first campus I could find that offered the major.

I have worked with PC, VR, AR, and mobile game development. Since graduation I have published 2 mobile games to the Google Play Store. Both of which are really simple in concept; however, they were only developed in 1 sitting. In 2018 I landed a job with one of my college professors' company 'Edge Technovations'. I worked as a Junior Software and Technology Engineer, where I helped develop 3D browser-based interactive training software for a security company. At the beginning of 2019 I began working for 'Actors for Autism'. Where I teach adults with autism video game development in a year long course starting from introduction to game development to working on a portfolio project.
